Basara-ZA is the futuristic House Music duo formed by two nice guys called ALPH ZEN & yamatomato.

Theywere the members of a certain band (which was Heavy Metalproject) once,and evolved the music of own individually more evenafter the band hadbroken up. As time passed, they became the captiveof the dancegradually, and came to feel the warmth that was almosttemperature not alive house in a NIGHTCLUB. In brief, Heavy Metalturned into HouseMusic. They do love HM purely than others do. Dancingwith HM in allages after all.

It's certain that House Music kicks their assfor now. And thus they'regonna sustain the past and the future by theprogressive dance music.Two gentlemen called Miss Pagan always temptyou with the qualitymusic, and must do LADY softly in particular.There's a rumor that thetracks they perform seems to be totally a lovepotion or a sweet candy.

東京を拠点に活動するDJ/プロデューサーのALPHZENとyamatomatoの二人によって結成されたトラック・ユニット、"Basara-ZA"。
二人は2000年頃から同じロックバンドのメンバーとして活動。バンド解散後は二人とも急激にダンス・ミュージックに魅了されていき、各々でダンストラックの制作を開始する。再び意気投合した二人は更なる進化を掲げBasara-ZAとして活動をスタート。

Basara-ZAの楽曲はハウス・ミュージックをベースにしながらも様々な音楽的影響を感じさせ、これまでに味わったことのない新たな感動すら与える。それはエレクトリック・ミュージックの今後を予感させるような、まさに近未来サウンド。あらゆる事象を縦横無尽に駆け巡るその音楽性は安易なカテゴライズを許さない紛れもないオリジナル。

2009年には2E2L Recordingsから「Broken Woman EP」「Let's Go ToBed EP」「Slip Of The TongueEP」の3作品を発表。いずれも多方面から好評を博し、今後もシーンの重要レーベルから続々と楽曲リリースを控えている。また、DJとしても各々がageHa、WOMB、UNIT、AIRなど都内主要クラブで活躍しフロアを歓喜の渦に包み込んでいる。
他にも、ALPH ZENは都内のビッグ・パーティーでオーガナイザーとして手腕を奮い、yamatomatoは HIPHOP/R&Bのアーティストに楽曲を提供したりとその活動は幅広い。数多くのギグを重ねモンスター級の成長を続けるBasara-ZAの未来は恐ろしいくらいに輝いている。
