Makoto Murase aka MAKOTRAX was born in 1978. He grew up Tokyo Japan. In the 90's Makoto started participating in the Club/Rave scene in Japan. From House to Techno and everywhere in between, he has crafted a unique and ever-evolving style. Using finely polished electronic beats coupled with grooved-up waves that wash over, you will not be able to escape from the dance floor!. He was featured on the domestic(Japan) trance label ELF-MUSIC's 2006 compliation 'FAR EAST TECHNOLOGY' that caused a stir from Brazil to Russia. In August of 2007, his remixes of the japanese artist Uscus hit number 3 on WasaBeat's Progressive House chart. In March of 2008, his track 'ALKALINE' (Landscape Music) hit number 1 on HRFQ.com's Trance chart. He has received rave reviews from Ferry Corsten's up and coming artist Breakfast, and his mix of Makotrax unreleased tracks has been causing a stir on Canada's ONAIR radio station and Shibuya FM. In 2008 Makotrax really rose to prominence when he was awarded the grand prize in the very coveted friskyRecords remix competition! His remix of Federico Epis "Sensations" was a genre busting crossover hit making it to the 1 position on the Beats Digital sales chart. In 2009 he has already had huge success with new singles and remixes on friskyRecords, Mango Alley, microCastle, Moody Moon Recordiings, EYE Records and Frame Recordings. His unique blend of classy progressive house melodies and rock solid techno inspired production has garnered him support from many A-list DJs worldwide. In June of 2009 his 'Cold White' single was played by Armin Van Buuren and Matt Darey. To follow that up world famous Dj Miss Nine charted his remix of Peter Martin - Spacerock 1 for all of July 2009. Another name of Progrsv House DUO what called The Siganal. Their 'Implode(Original Mix)' was ranked #86 Progrsv chart on Beatport. and Ferry Corsten picked up Makotrax - Homeward (Nhato's 2 Moons Remix) by Corsten's Countdown. So far 2010 has been a great year and with many more remixes and Original productions to follow Makotrax is a producer and DJ to watch.

今後はプログレッシブハウス、テクノ、トランスの垣根を越え更なる注目が集まる存在と言えよう。
